Joining Forces to Power RISC-V in Automotive
Quintauris, a global provider of RISC-V based products, and TASKING, a trusted provider of embedded software development tools, have announced a new partnership to strengthen RISC-V development for the automotive industry. As part of this collaboration, Quintauris will integrate TASKING’s RISC-V compiler into its future RISC-V reference platform. This ensures that software developers working on next-generation automotive and industrial systems can benefit from a powerful, reliable development environment tailored to real-world needs.
“With RISC-V gaining traction in automotive, there is a clear need for robust, certifiable development tools. TASKING’s proven track record makes them an ideal partner as we work to deliver safe and scalable RISC-V solutions,” said Pedro Lopez, Market Strategy Officer of Quintauris.
The integration brings together TASKING’s expertise in compiler technology and safety requirements with Quintauris’ focus on real-time, high-performance RISC-V reference platforms developed in alignment with industry leaders. It will enable developers to build performant software while aligning with industry standards and upcoming certifications.
“We’re excited to support Quintauris in advancing the RISC-V ecosystem. Their work is helping shape the future of open hardware in automotive, and we’re proud to contribute with tools that developers can trust,” said Christoph Herzog, Co-CEO/CTO of TASKING.
This announcement marks another milestone in Quintauris’ mission to advance the adoption of RISC-V globally by enabling next-generation hardware development through ecosystem alignment. TASKING supports this path to the common goal with a complete toolset for software development – ensuring ecosystem readiness, compiler optimization, and developer adoption.
